Biography

Electrical Engineer, electronics emphasis CREA 62318-RS, graduated from PUC-RS in 1987, MBA by FGV in 2004, R&D Management by SENAI-RS Faculty in 2014, Green Belt by Flemming-RS in 2015, with more than 30 Years of experience in the electro-electronic and electromechanical industry, in subjects related to test engineering and reliability. Mr. Regis Alberto Koeche has also been an independent consultant for over 10 years, in particular in the area of Accelerated testing of electronic boards and electromechanical and mechanical products. As a Reliability Engineering consultant, Mr. Regis provides consultancies and training on the subject and related matters in companies such as Electrolux, Flexitronics, Hexagon, Reason, Reivax, Toledo Balances, WEM-Meditronics and others. In addition, he has been acting as a consultant in the implementation and execution of Highly Accelerated Tests, through HALT & HASS methodology in Brazil. It was a pioneer in Brazil in the implementation of the first HALT laboratory in Latin America. Mr. Regis was trained directly in the US by the Hobbs Engineering staff, in particular by Dr. Greg Hobbs "in memorian", inventor of the HALT & HASS methodology. Mr. Regis received specialized training at the Qualmark-Denver-USA plant, the largest equipment manufacturer for HALT & HASS. He is an active speaker at Reliability Symposia in Brazil, where he has presented works in the field of accelerated tests in product development, implementation of techniques for Reliability Growth in Products for Banking Automation, techniques for the implementation of quantitative accelerated tests (ALT), for life estimation.

 Mr. Regis was trained in several techniques in the area of reliability by the American company Reliasoft, and in 2009 received his CRP (Certified Reliability Professional) n ° 15,140, certification obtained after participating in several courses taught by the entity and the presentation of a Completion work at the 7th International Reliability Symposium in 2009 in Curitiba.

 

 Lecturer at the 8th and 9th International Reliability Symposium, with the theme Highly Accelerated Life Test (HALT). Recently he was Speaker of the 12th International Reliability Symposium 2014, in São Paulo, with the theme "How to make Reliability happen using Accelerated Testing in Product Development".
